iroiro - An incredibly plugin for legacy UTAU. Converts romaji to hiragana, CV to VCV, etc.
AutoPitchWriter - A plugin that generates basic tuning. Comes with a UST you can customize to your own tuning style to auto-apply it to songs.
autoCVVC - A plugin that converts a CV UST into a CVVC compatible one.
resampler - The default resampler that comes with UTAU.

OREMO - Legacy, Windows only. OREMO allows you to play background music or metronomes while you record to keep you on key and on time. No more splicing samples in Audacity; OREMO automatically records samples individually and names them for you.
VLabeler - A program specifically designed for configuring otos. Multiplatform and modern alternative to OREMO.

Automatic oto.ini suffixer - Created by tady159. Created to add suffixes to each alias in an oto, rather than editing by hand or via spreadsheet. Saves lots of time!

Reaper – Multiplatform with an "unlimited" free trial. After the trial period, you may continue to use the software after waiting to close a popup, but you cannot create commercial work without purchasing a license.
Audacity – Multiplatform but very old and rather limited. Good for simple editing, noise removal, etc., but not reccomended for mixing covers.
Garageband – Mac only, comes preinstalled on Apple devices.
FL Studio - Robust and popular with perpetual licenses at multiple payment tiers. Offers an "unlimited" free trial, though you cannot reopen projects.
Logic Pro – Mac only. $199 for a perpetual license with options for educational discounts.
vocalshifter – Tool for modifying/fixing sample pitch and other parameters for a .wav file.

AviUtl - An incredibly versatile video editor that also happens to be free! There is a bit of a learning curve, but the possibilities are almost endless.
Davinci Resolve - Another free video editor, Davinci Resolve is a professional grade editor with an easy learning curve. The base software is free after sign-up for the bare bones version, but the company offers perpetual licenses for the full version.
Capcut - Simple multiplatform video editor with endless special effect options. Best for edits or simple videos.
